This is a very beautiful and rare piece of Cobalt Blue sea glass.
Cobalt blue sea glass origins are from bottles and jars used for medicines in the 1880s and “pseudo” medicinals in the 1950s such as Noxzema, Vicks Rub, Pepto Bismol, etc. Cobalt blue glass was made by adding cobalt oxide to the glass batch. This is a rare colour of sea glass to find.
Found at Limekilns in Fife, Scotland.
Measuring 2.5 cm x 3.5cm its shape is unaltered and has been drilled and hung by an artistic silver wire bale on an adjustable length of grey faux suede finished with a white lava bead.
All pieces are sent by tracking delivery and arrive beautifully gift wrapped in a linen pouch.

**Note: all of my sea glass is 100% genuine and handpicked by me from shores of Fife, Scotland. The shapes and colours of sea glass vary because they are shaped by the ocean and from rolling around in the sand for many years.
Glass can be fragile – handle & wear with care.
